This hog bristle brush is a workhorse! The ultimate hard brush, made from the hairs off the back of a hog, which are strong and springy, they also have natural split ends which increases the amount of paint they hold.

The Neef 1150 Hog Bristle brush has a long handle, about 29 cm, from the end of the handle to the top of the ferrule. 

For an idea of bristle size- the largest in the brights, the size 20, has bristles which measure 4.5 cm from ferrule to bristle tips and 6 cm across. The smallest, the size 1, has bristles which measure 7 mm from ferrule to bristle tips and 5 mm across.
